We Came, We Saw, We Ate Gluten-Free…

The 2008 South Florida Gluten Free Cooking Spree on Friday, November 7, was a huge success! I would post a photo but my camera sucks and I don’t have any worth publishing. Oh well. Imagine over 200 guests, numerous vendors, chefs, and volunteers packed into a huge room having a ball, and eating gluten-free. There you go!

I’d like to give a shout out to Vanessa, Emily, Lauren and Connie, from the NFCA, for all your hard work assembling this event. And another shout to Faye, Alan, Melinda, Benis, Sharon, Dawn, Carolyn, Harriet, and everyone else who volunteered. Sorry I can’t remember all your names… I had a blast working with you all, and I hope we get to do it again soon!

And a special thank-you to all the vendors who brought samples and provided food. Your efforts to provide delicious gluten-free food to the masses, Friday and all days, are greatly appreciated!

That sounds like an event worth while to visit….

It sounds like a lot of celiacs in that area.

It was a lot of fun! We have over 200 members in our Celiac Support Group, and of course, there are many more gluten-intolerants in the area.

I just checked out your blog, The Celiac Husband. Nice!
