FYI

“Nummy” is like “yummy”, only more so.

In case anyone (David) was not familiar with the word, used in my previous entry. Which I say all the time, by the way. Maybe he just thought I had a speech impediment these last eight years or so…

Just wanted to clear up any confusion!

By the way, if you’re talking to young children you must use the word “nummers.” Such as “Would you like some ‘nummers’?”

I tried a gluten-free cake mix and it was horrid as were the chocolate chip cookies and frozen waffles!! What do you do, simply not eat this food?? It is so expensive also…any suggestions? I know you have many recipes, I’ll try some soon.

Dana – LOL! What is it about that word? All I have to do is think “nummers” and my mouth starts watering!

I stay away from almost all mixes, because of my many food intolerances. A good place to look for baking recipes is http://www.gluten.net/recipes/. Everything I’ve made from there has been great. Also check out Karina’s Kitchen (Gluten Free Goddess), and Ginger Lemon Girl. I have a bunch of other blogs I follow for recipes, I’ll try to get my links updated this week.

Hang in there, it really does get easier!
