Why join a celiac support group? Part Two

Thanks to Ed, who commented on my original post about celiac support groups. Ed pointed out there is another resource available for those wishing to start a support group of any kind: the Self Help Sourcebook Online. Thank you for the information!

This also reminds me that I meant to say that you don’t have to affiliate your celiac or gluten-free support group with any of the large celiac organizations out there. They are merely a resource of information available. The group I belong to, Palm Beach County Celiac Support Group, happens to be part of the Celiac Disease Foundation. But that’s just one option out there.

Also, if you are in Southern Florida, the next meeting of PBCCSG is Monday, November 10, at 7:00pm. Meetings are always held at the Palm Beach County Civic Center, 16700 Jog Rd, Delray Beach. If you are in the area and would like more information, please check out this website, or feel free to email me at nooner911 AT bellsouth DOT net, and I’ll put you in touch with the organization.
